Helicopters Of America is proud to have launched hundreds of pilots safely into the air, and help hundreds more start their rewarding careers as helicopter pilots. The first thing you want to consider is whether you will fly as a hobby or professionally.

If you want to begin flying, you do not have to have any prior experience in any aircraft. Helicopters of America will have you taking the controls of a helicopter in a matter of hours, with the guidance of your Certified Flight Instructor. And signing up for our introductory flight lesson is easy! Just come in to the hangar and say, "I want a demo flight." Sorry, only one Demo Flight per person is allowed. The Demo Flight can be logged toward your license, and we give you a complimentary Log Book.

Once you discover the thrill of flying a helicopter, by taking our Demo Flight at Helicopters of America, you can further your training. The demo flight has already provided you a half-hour of ground instruction and a half-hour of flight instruction, and that can be logged toward your flight experience!
